Northland Christian Celebrates the Class of 2024: A Bright Future Ahead
Northland Christian Schools celebrated its 2024 graduating class on May 11 with a ceremony honoring 18 seniors.
Held at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, the event was made particularly memorable by heartfelt messages recorded by parents. These personal tributes added a unique touch, celebrating each graduate's journey and accomplishments.
This year’s Valedictorian speeches were delivered by Noah Camacho and Alex Noble. Both young men spoke about the positive influence of their families and the impact of their Christian education. Noah Camacho shared five impactful phrases that have guided his life. One of these phrases was, “Everything happens for a reason." He referenced Ecclesiastes, reminding us that there is a time for everything. He stated, "But later, in time, after cool reflection, the Scriptures prove trustworthy. To realize that every act -no matter how big, small, good, or evil it is- is good for those who love God is to note that God acts in everything and cares for us on a personal level."
Alex highlighted the school's commitment to both academic excellence and character building, stating, “Throughout our time at Northland Christian, we have been in an environment that values not only academic excellence but also the building of character into people that have strong faith, put God first, and are full of compassion and love. It is this that sets our school apart. We have been guided in our studies and how to interact with one another, the world, and God.”
The keynote speaker, Jim Borden, Northland Christian's secondary Science teacher, focused on the year's theme of “Love Well.” He encouraged the graduates to continue loving well and to look to Christ's example as they navigate their futures.
The event encapsulated the essence of Northland's mission—partnering with Christian families to provide a God-centered, discipleship-based education. Congratulations to the Class of 2024 for their achievements, and to their families and the staff at Northland for their unwavering support and dedication to Kingdom education.
