Admissions Standards

As part of the admissions process, students will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • ECC-12 families, parent(s) must be an active member of a local Christian church as validated by a pastor at that church.

  • ECC-12 families, at least one parent must profess a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their life.

  • Parent(s) and secondary students must agree with the Statement of Faith and the Gender, Marriage and Sexuality Agreement for the Northland Christian Education System.

  • The student must have a sincere desire for a Christian education and must be willing to submit to the standards and regulations of the school.

  • The student's record of behavior at home, in the church, in a previous school (if applicable), and in the community, must indicate a commitment to good citizenship and an understanding of parental authority.

  • Applicants entering seventh through twelfth grade must submit an overview of their spiritual journey in which they express a desire to know and follow Jesus.


  • The student must be of suitable age for the grade assigned. Children entering kindergarten must be five years of age on or before August 1st of the year they enter school.

  • A student transferring from another school must be in good academic standing. Should the student's accomplishments be below his grade level as evidenced by transcripts or SAT scores, the child may be admitted on a probationary status (for one semester) and may be placed in a lower grade or class as suited for the student's academic abilities.

  • School records must be reviewed and family interview completed by administration, before acceptance is granted for all new students.
